Hiring: Senior Accountant (Group Level | Retail & Wholesale | Odoo Expert)

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to lead and strengthen the finance function across a growing group operating in retail and wholesale businesses.

This is a critical role for someone who understands both numbers and operations, and can bring discipline, automation, and clarity to financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage full accounting cycle across multiple entities 

- Lead monthly closing, reporting, and financial controls 

- Handle intercompany transactions and consolidations 

- Monitor cash flow, receivables, payables, and margins 

- Ensure accurate inventory accounting and cost tracking 

- Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis 

- Coordinate audits and ensure compliance 

Odoo (Mandatory):

- Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (Accounting + Inventory) 

- Strong understanding of:

 - Inventory valuation (FIFO/FEFO) 

 - Intercompany automation 

 - Chart of accounts structure 

 - Financial reporting & dashboards 

- Ability to improve and optimize existing Odoo setup 

Requirements:

- 5–7+ years of experience (retail/wholesale preferred) 

- Strong grasp of inventory-heavy business models 

- Detail-oriented with strong analytical mindset 

- Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment 

Location: Muscat, Oman 

Type: Full-time 

Compensation: 700 – 900 OMR (based on experience)
