Position: Accountant Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Al Hail, Muscat Experience Required: 3–5 years of accounting experience in Oman Qualification: ACCA, CPA, or CMA Job Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Muscat. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in financial management, tax compliance, payroll, and accounting systems, with excellent analytical and communication skills. Key Responsibilities Manage daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and tax filings. Conduct financial audits and ensure solid internal controls are maintained. Review and analyze financial statements for accuracy and completeness. Handle VAT, Corporate Tax, and assist with system implementation projects. Process monthly payroll, verifying attendance, overtime, deductions, and ensuring compliance with Oman Labour Law. Prepare and execute WPS salary transfers and maintain strict confidentiality of payroll data. Reconcile payroll accounts and coordinate with HR regarding new joiners, resignations, and employee benefits. Qualifications & Skills Professional certification: ACCA, CPA, or CMA. 3–4 years of progressive accounting experience (Oman experience required). Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with financial systems, especially Zoho Books (preferred).
