Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our team in Oman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy of financial records across Multi country, and supporting monthly and annual closing processes. This role requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and statements.

Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

Process journal entries and assist in month-end and year-end closing.

Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Review and verify invoices, expense claims, and supporting documents.

Ensure compliance with Omani taxation laws, VAT regulations, and accounting standards.

Liaise with auditors, banks, and vendors when required.

Support management with financial analysis and ad-hoc reports.

Maintain organized and confidential financial files and documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 1–4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Experience with accounting software (Tally, SAP, QuickBooks).

Proficient in MS Excel and financial data analysis.

Good communication skills in English, and Arabic speakers are only preferred

Preferred Candidate Omani Nationals (Omani locals) preferred as part of nationalization efforts.
