Job Summary

Burhan Oil and Trade Services is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead and oversee civil engineering projects across Oil & Gas, infrastructure, and construction sectors. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in managing end-to-end project execution including planning, scheduling, budgeting, client coordination, and team leadership. Experience in Oman and working on Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) sites is highly preferred. This role demands strong project management skills, commercial acumen, and strict adherence to PDO standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

? Lead and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of civil construction and infrastructure projects.

? Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.

? Develop project execution plans, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.

? Supervise preparation of BOQs, tenders, and contract documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

? Coordinate with clients, consultants, PDO representatives, subcontractors, and suppliers.

? Monitor site progress through regular inspections, reporting, and project review meetings.

? Ensure strict adherence to PDO standards, safety regulations, and quality benchmarks.

? Manage project billing, Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs), and financial tracking.

? Resolve commercial, contractual, and technical issues with proactive solutions.

? Lead and mentor project teams, ensuring high performance and professional development.

? Prepare and present monthly progress reports, cost control updates, and client deliverables.

? Ensure project documentation, approvals, and handover processes are completed efficiently.

Required Skills & Qualifications

? 6 to 8+ years of proven project management experience in civil construction, Oil & Gas, and infrastructure projects.

? Strong expertise in project planning, cost estimation, contract management, and execution.

? Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project / Primavera, E-Massah, and MS Office.

? Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.

? In-depth knowledge of PDO on-plot and off-plot project execution standards.

? Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

? Excellent communication, client-handling, and negotiation skills.

? Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Preferred Qualifications

? Experience in Oman with PDO contracts and approvals.

? Master’s degree in Project Management or PMP certification.

? PG Diploma in Piping Engineering / Primavera Planning certification.

? Prior experience with procurement, commercial maintenance projects, and Oil & Gas infrastructure development.
