Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise
and coordinate daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing
procedures.
- Plans
menus by consulting with chefs, estimating food costs and profits, and
adjusting menus.
- Maintain
proper sanitation, hygiene standards in kitchen and maintaining effective
store presentation
- Train
and mentor staff members to ensure high-quality service and customer
satisfaction.
- Conduct
regular quality checks on food, beverages, and service to maintain brand
standards.
- Develop
and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for consistent
performance.
- Oversee
daily operations across all departments, including kitchen, service,
supply chain, and logistics.
- Monitor
and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Adheres
to proper alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety procedures, and
maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all beverage
items.
- Ensures
smooth operation of bar services during absence of supervisor.
- Coordinates daily supply inventory for bar
and submits orders/ arrange for purchases; assists with receipt of
deliveries.
- Handle
customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional
manner.
- Create
and implement staff schedules to ensure efficient staffing levels.
- Conduct
regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Collaborate
with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth food preparation and delivery.
- Monitor
stock levels and reduce wastage by implementing efficient inventory
management systems.
- Develop
and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Stay
up-to-date with industry trends and implement new ideas to improve the
restaurant's performance.
- Consistently
monitor product and labor costs to remain within the budget.
- Solicit
guest feedback to understand the needs and wants of customers.
- Develop
special, promotional and merchandising plans, advertising materials and
ensure adherence to local and company standards.
Qualifications:
Strong communication, negotiation and
interpersonal skills
Well versed in marketing, social media.
Proficiency in using restaurant management
software.
Flexible schedule and the ability to work
evenings, weekends, and holidays.
A passion for great food, exceptional service and
creating memorable guest experiences.
Proficiency in English, Hindi and Arabic.
Valid Oman driving license
Education: A degree or
diploma in hospitality or a related field is preferred
Experience: 5-7 yrs in
managerial role in Indian/Chinese restaurant in GCC, preferably from Oman
Immediate Joiners preferred
