We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with a strong background in the food and beverage industry. The ideal candidate should have experience in accounting software like Tally, Fodex, and ERP systems, as well as a proven track record in inventory management, petty cash handling, and overall account management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory accounting, including stock reconciliation and valuation.
- Monitor and report on cost of goods sold (COGS) and inventory discrepancies.
- Petty Cash Management:
- Handle petty cash transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely reconciliation.
- Monitor and control expenses within approved budgets.
- ERP & Software Expertise:
- Utilize accounting tools like Tally, Fodex, and ERP systems to manage financial data effectively.
- Generate financial reports and ensure seamless integration with operational processes.
- Account Reconciliation & Reporting:
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain updated financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Taxation & Compliance:
- Ensure timely filing of VAT and other applicable taxes.
- Maintain compliance with local financial laws and regulations.
- Cost Analysis:
- Conduct cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Assist in setting pricing strategies based on financial analysis.
- Audit Preparation:
- Prepare and assist with internal and external audits.
- Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as needed.
- General Administrative Duties:
- Support other departments with financial data and analysis.
- Handle ad-hoc accounting tasks and other related responsibilities as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience in the food and beverage industry.
- Software Proficiency: Expertise in Tally, Fodex, and ERP systems is mandatory.
- Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with inventory management, cost analysis, and financial reporting.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in financial record-keeping.
