Position: Experienced Travel Agent

Location: Muscat, Oman

A reputable firm in Muscat, Oman, is seeking an experienced Travel Agent to join our team. As a key member of our travel department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional travel services to our clients, ensuring memorable and hassle-free experiences. 

Responsibilities:

Plan and arrange travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities, based on clients' preferences and budget. 

Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients regarding travel destinations, attractions, visa requirements, and travel insurance. 

Coordinate with airlines, hotels, car rental agencies, and tour operators to make reservations and secure the best deals for clients. 

Handle booking modifications, cancellations, and refunds as per company policies and procedures. 

Stay updated on travel trends, airline routes, visa regulations, and other relevant information to provide accurate and timely assistance to clients. 

Handle inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction. 

Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and client preferences using travel agency software or databases. 

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or related field. 

Proven experience as a Travel Agent or Travel Consultant, with a minimum of 5 years in the travel industry. 

Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations, airline routes, and travel products. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term client relationships. 

Proficiency in travel booking systems, such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo, is preferred. 

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities. 

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 

Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
