[Al-Tanmiya], a construction contracting company based in Muscat, is seeking a Civil Technician for an office-based role, responsible for pricing, tendering, and accounting tasks.
Responsibilities:
Taking off quantities from blueprints, preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and pricing projects.
Requesting and comparing quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
Monitoring tenders via the "Esnad" portal, preparing bid documents, and ensuring timely submission.
Recording expenses and revenue, and processing payroll via the Wage Protection System (WPS).
Preparing progress payment applications (invoices), following up on collections, and calculating project costs.
Coordinating with site foremen regarding material requests and the quantities of work executed.
Requirements:
Diploma in Civil Engineering.
At least two years of experience with a contracting company in the Sultanate of Oman.
Ability to read blueprints and perform quantity take-offs.
Familiarity with the "Esnad" portal and basic accounting principles.
Proficiency in Excel.
Valid Omani driver’s license.
