Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced MEP Engineer to join our growing construction team in Oman. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, with proven experience in delivering high-quality commercial and residential construction projects from planning through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, supervise, and monitor MEP works throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Manage site execution to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, verify measurements, and develop accurate MEP BOQs for tendering and project execution.
• Monitor material procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, and final handover of MEP systems.
• Identify and resolve technical issues while ensuring cost-effective and timely project delivery.
• Prepare progress reports, inspection documentation, and project-related technical submissions.

Requirements

• Minimum 8+ years of proven experience in MEP engineering within the construction industry in Oman
• Demonstrated experience in commercial and residential building projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, site execution, testing & commissioning, quality control, and quantity take-off/BOQ preparation.
• Proficiency in reading and reviewing MEP drawings and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering works.
• Good knowledge of relevant international standards, local regulations, and construction best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; experience with estimation or BIM software will be an added advantage.
