Job Overview

The Civil Construction Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from conception to completion. This role involves collaborating with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

Design and plan construction projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards.

Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor progress and quality of work.

Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines.

Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow.

Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.

Review and approve project plans, designs, and specifications.

Ensure adherence to environmental and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients and regulatory agencies.

Education and Experience

A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in civil construction, with a proven track record of managing successful construction projects.
