Position Summary

The Senior Accountant will oversee the company’s financial operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with accounting standards, and provide essential support to management in strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations including billing, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor, analyze, and interpret accounting data to generate financial reports.
• Ensure full compliance with local tax laws and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate, prepare, and support annual audits.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Supervise, guide, and mentor junior accounting staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, preferably within the car rental or automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
• Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, or SAP.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail with a strong sense of accuracy.
• Effective communication skills and proven leadership abilities.
