Position Summary
The Senior Accountant will oversee the company’s financial operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with accounting standards, and provide essential support to management in strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting operations including billing, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor, analyze, and interpret accounting data to generate financial reports.
- Ensure full compliance with local tax laws and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate, prepare, and support annual audits.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Supervise, guide, and mentor junior accounting staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, preferably within the car rental or automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
- Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, or SAP.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail with a strong sense of accuracy.
- Effective communication skills and proven leadership abilities.
