Assistant Accountant – Oman


Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare and maintain financial records, invoices, and payment transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Assist with tax filings, audits, and compliance with local financial regulations.
  • Monitor and manage petty cash transactions.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors for financial matters.
  • Ensure all accounting records are updated and maintained accurately.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Prior experience in Oman’s financial regulations is a plus.
