#### Key Responsibilities:
- **Bookkeeping:** Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- **Financial Reporting:** Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- **Invoicing:** Generate and manage invoices to clients and ensure timely payments. Follow up on overdue accounts.
- **Payroll Processing:** Assist in the preparation and processing of employee payroll.
- **Tax Compliance:** Ensure compliance with local and national tax regulations. Prepare and file tax returns.
- **Audit Assistance:** Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- **Data Entry:** Accurately enter financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets.
- **Cost Management:** Monitor and report on project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets.
- **Vendor Management:** Handle vendor payments and reconcile vendor statements.
- **Bank Reconciliation:** Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
#### Qualifications:
- **Experience:** 0-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in accounting software (e. g. , Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- **Knowledge:** Basic understanding of accounting standards and tax regulations.
- **Soft Skills:** Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- **Language:** Proficiency in English and Hindi. Knowledge of regional languages is a plus.
#### Preferred Attributes:
- Familiarity with cost accounting and project accounting.
- Experience in handling TAX, VAT.
