Sea Logistics Sales Representative Wanted

Your Role
The purpose of the role is to develop, using all of the tools available to you, seafreight business from new customers in order to reach and exceed predefined targets set by the Management. You are directly responsible for growing Seafreight market share across all products (FCL, LCL) and contribute positively to the Gross Profit of the Seafreight product.
Your Responsibilities
Development of Seafreight import, export & cross-trade business
Key focus on new customer development
Build relationship with network colleagues to support prepaid & collect traffic to Oman
Ensure adherence to all Kuehne+Nagel Compliance, legal, human resources, environmental, ISO, Security and health & safety procedures and standards, at all times without exception
Meet and exceed targets as predefined by the Management
Contribute to Kuehne+Nagel Oman achieving annual Budget
Your Skills and Experiences
Minimum bachelor’s degree
Minimum 8 years of extensive track record of professional experience and success as field sales representative in the forwarding / logistics sector
A reliable, trustworthy and serious demeanour
Excellent negotiating and closure skills, ability to work on your own initiative and in a highly organised way
A good knowledge of spoken and written English
Very good computer skills, particularly MS Office
A valid driving licence and able to travel
