HR Manager and Administration- OMANI CANDIDATES ONLY
1. Overall Role & Responsibilities
a. Supervise & Coordinate all HR & Administration activities to ensure smooth functioning of the department.
b. Implement policies & plans developed by the Top Management and always ensure compliance with Oman Labour Law.
c. Act as custodian of HR & Admin Policies & Procedural Manual.
d. Liaise with Management to address topics raised by the Omani Union and communicate effectively between both parties.
e. Maintain a customer-centric approach to addressing department and end-user department issues and provide solutions with a practical and cost-conscious approach.
f. Provide monthly (or other periodic) reports to management on several key aspects such as employee data, benefits, leave, visa status, cost saving etc.
g. Ensure optimal use of ERP Portal and other electronic systems for tracking and maintaining information as per company’s procedures.
h. Update records and data for audits and ISO Certification.
i. Provide required assistance in registration in Govt. /Semi Govt. Organizations like DCRP, Tender Board, PAEW RCA etc.
j. Implement cost-saving measures.
k. Data on absconding Employees.
l. Represent the Company in legal issues, of and all natures & coordinate with our lawyers & PROs.
2. Human Resources
a. Conduct interviews to Recruit Omanis.
b. Participate in staff induction program in coordination with team members and HODs.
c. Evaluate team member performance and recommend increment & bonus terminations etc. including evaluating the performance of any Omani staff within the organization.
d. Assesses Training needs and Organizes employee training in coordination with HODs.
e. Must manage to terminate all non-performing employees.
f. Ensure a system is implemented to issue warning letters to all employees.
g. Must highlight nonperforming staff to management.
3. Administration Duties
a. Maintain good relationships with Ministries to obtain necessary Clearances/documents & permits within an acceptable timeframe.
b. Verify and Approve Time sheet /Leave/Exception forms of Omani Employees.
c. Undertake necessary studies and gathers information about new governmental policies & procedures.
d. Manage Group-wide labor clearances and visa status at all times.
e. Conduct Camp inspections to determine HR and Admin requirements or modifications for both staff and workers' accommodations.
f. Maintain a record of Rental land and premises and associated company assets.
g. Ensure correct implementation of employee benefits policies, including accommodation, air ticket, medical, vehicle assignment, etc.
h. Maintain appropriate employees’ information such as employment files, passports, and other necessary documentation/records.
i. Coordinate all event management activities including CSR initiatives and Employee morale activities (Sports day, festivals celebration, etc. )
j. Manage Group of companies’ activities related to HR & Admin
k. Apply for visa clearance permits when required and obtain them within a specified time frame.
l. Transfer employee visas appropriately and on the as per MOM regulations.
m. Ensure employee visas/resident cards /passports are renewed on time and maintain records for the same.
n. Attend to any Omani employee from time to time and resolve legal cases pending /upcoming of any Govt. sector, ROP etc.
o. Other related Activity as stipulated by management on ADHOC basis.
